Model 1906 Heavy Cavalry Saber, marked ''A.S. Co.'' (Ames), 35'' blade, 41'' overall, blade being 1'' wide at guard. Wire wrapped leather grip with iron guard, pommel and scabbard. Condition to sword is very good with moderate carbon spotting to blade. Guard and pommel have toned. Grip wrap is tight, leather shows moderate scuffing. Scabbard with scuffs and dings, appearing to have been polished and lacquered at one point. Est.: $400-$600.
